StockMarketWire.com - Curtis Banks Group, one of the UK's leading SIPP providers, appointed Dan Cowland as the company's new Chief Financial Officer with effect from 8 July.

Cowland's previous role was as Finance Director for WH Ireland Group, a role he held for five years. Prior to this, he was Finance Director at Shore Capital Stockbrokers from 2010 to 2014. He has also held senior finance roles at Macquarie Bank and Lehman Brothers.

Current CFO, Paul Tarran, would remain a member of the board for a period of time, to ensure an orderly hand-over, before standing down, the company said.
