StockMarketWire.com - LXi REIT said it acquired six retail property assets for a combined £135m.

The purchase price reflected a weighted average net initial acquisition yield of 5.7%.

They included a new Aldi-led scheme in St Albans, Hertfordshire and a new 78-bedroom Travelodge hotel and Costa coffee shop in Workington, Cumbria.

The also acquired, on a sale and leaseback basis, seven Q-Park car parks in city centre locations in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, York, Manchester and Sheffield.

Other assets acquired included an Eddie Stobart distribution facility, 14 Greene King family pubs and a Dobbies Garden centre in West Yorshire.
