StockMarketWire.com - Rockfire Resources said the government of Papua New Guinea had decided not to renew the company's only mining licence in the Pacific nation.

The Nakru licence had been under review since September 2017.

The relevant minister noted that the company had held the tenement for five renewal periods since 2012, that that no resources had been identified.

Rockfire said it would continue to focus on its Australian gold and copper projects in Queensland.
