StockMarketWire.com - Lansdowne Oil & Gas said the site survey over the area of the Barryroe field off the south coast of Ireland would get underway later this month after its partners had been granted a permit from the Minister of State at the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment.
The site survey was expected to commence later this month after funding had been received from APEC, a partner of the project, or alternative financing arrangements was secured.
The standard exploration licence 1/11 contained the Barryroe oil accumulation and was operated by EXOLA, 40% owner, a wholly-owned Providence subsidiary, on behalf of its partners, APEC Energy Enterprises Limited and Lansdowne Celtic Sea Limited (10% owner), collectively referred to as the "Barryroe Partners".
