On Thursday, the company said an armed group of miners had broken into the project to steal ore, before local police intervened.
Chief executive Serhan Umurhan was currently traveling to Youga with the general manager of the mine to assess the situation and determine when operations could re-commence.
All company staff at Youga had been relocated to Ouagadougou as a precaution.
Government security forces would remain on site to protect the company's assets, Aversoro said.
