StockMarketWire.com - Tower Resources said it had switched drilling rigs and was continuing discussions with potential investors for an upcoming well in Cameroon.
In May, the company had indicated that further site preparation work would be required before the drilling rig for the NJOM-3 well was moved to site.
A vessel to undertake the preparation work was now en route to West Africa, with the expectation the work could be completed during September.
Tower Resources said it had decided to switch to using the COSL Seeker, a former sister rig to the originally-contracted Topaz Driller, without incurring any material change in total costs.
'The company is continuing farm-out discussions with multiple parties who are currently undertaking due diligence, and the company is hoping to bring at least one of these discussions to a conclusion in the near future,' Tower Resource said.
