- DP Eurasia, master franchisee of the Domino's Pizza brand in Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan, reported an uptick in losses as higher costs offset a jump in system sales amid 'solid' growth in Turkey and Russia.

For the six months to 30 June 2019, pre-tax losses widened to TRY 10.5m from TRY 10.0m and revenue was up 21.6% and system sales up 26.4%, with Turkish systems sales up 9.9% and Russian system sales up 63.0%.

Adjusted earnings (EBITDA) rose 15.1% to TRY 46.4m from a year earlier.

'Both Turkey and Russia recorded solid top-line growth accompanied by increased adjusted EBITDA , the company said.

The company added 64 stores over the last twelve months and reached a total of 736 stores.

'We remain on target for store openings for the full year in our markets and the Board expects the full year Adjusted EBITDA for 2019 to be in line with expectations,' the company said.
