- Mobile telecoms services provider Kcell reported a rise in earnings as sales and margins increased in the third quarter of the year.

For the period from January to September 2019, earnings (EBITDA), excluding non-recurring items, grew by 34.3% to KZT 17,957m sales increased by 6.1% to KZT 41,121m, with service revenue rising by 8.4% to KZT 36,212m.

EBITDA margin increased to 43.7% from 34.5% as the average revenue per user (APRU) rose 19% during the third quarter, as more subscribers were now opting for bundled offers, which account for more than half of Kcell's total subscriber base, the company said.
