- Wealth manager Standard Life Aberdeen said it had sold down more shares in Indian insurer HDFC Life for about 57.0bn Indian rupees (£622m) net of taxes and expenses.

The shares sold constituted 4.96% of the issued equity share capital of HDFC Life.

Standard Life Aberdeen remaining stake, held through subsidiary SLMH06, was now 14.74%, valued at about 187bn Indian rupees(£2.0bn) based on its current share price.
