- Computacenter said its revenue and profit in the third quarter were 'well ahead' on-year, as positive momentum seen in the first half continued throughout the quarter.

In the UK, the company generated revenue growth within technology sourcing, and continued to perform strongly in Germany, with shortfalls from its international-sector customers 'significantly exceeded by increases from the public sector'.

In France, meanwhile, Computacenter said it continued to see a better-than-expected performance through the three months through September.

In the US, it saw a 'strong return to both revenue and profitability growth with the performance in the third quarter alone being materially greater in absolute profitability than the first half of the year'.

The company did, however, express its disappointment at losing out on a large managed services renewal in France, which it said would have a small impact to the group in 2020. Computacenter said it still expected to continue a significant relationship with this customer.

'While the fourth quarter is always the most critical to the year's performance, the board's confidence with its current expectations continues to strengthen as we progress through the year,' the company said.
