StockMarketWire.com - Saint-Gobain said it had agreed to sell its expanded polystyrene business in France to HIRSCH Servo and BEWiSynbra. Saint-Gobain's French expanded polystyrene business had six industrial sites with around 240 employees and generated sales of around €70m in 2018. The completion of the transaction, subject to the approval of the relevant competition authorities, should be effective by the end of 2019, the company said. 'Saint-Gobain is continuing its divestment program even though the initial target of over €3bn in sales divested by the end of the year has already been met,' the company said.
