- Picton Property Income Fund said it posted a total return of 2.8% in the first half, though its profit fell.

The company's EPRA net asset value per share for the six months through September rose 0.9% to 94p and it declared an interim dividend of 1.75p, unchanged from a year earlier.

Net profit fell to £14.5m, down from £18.9m.

'During the last six months we have been able to further strengthen our balance sheet, increasing net assets and maintaining a covered dividend,' chairman Nicholas Thompson said.

'Our June fundraising has enabled us to continue to invest into our portfolio, enhancing the quality of our assets for occupiers and shareholders alike.'
