StockMarketWire.com - Gold miner Centamin said it had appointed current chief financial officer Ross Jerrard as its interim chief executive.
The company also announced the appointment of current director James Rutherford as its deputy chairman.
Jerrard's appointment came after current CEO Andrew Pardey in October indicated his intention to retire.
Centamin said the search for a permanent CEO replacement was progressing well.
'Having reviewed a far-reaching list of candidates, the nomination committee, supported by Korn Ferry, presented a shortlist of high-calibre potential candidates to the board with the next stage of interviewing underway,' it said.
