- Oil and gas company Hurricane Energy said it expected to post revenue of around $165m for its financial year through December, following a 'strong' performance from its Lancaster project in the UK.

The company has reported no revenue in the previous year.

Production was seen at 3.1m barrels of oil, representing an average rate of 13,300 barrels per day.

This was below the average rate achieved since start-up due to individual well testing.

For 2020, the company said its guidance for the Lancaster early production system had been maintained at 20,000 barrels of oil per day.
