StockMarketWire.com - Budget carrier Ryanair said it carried 53% less passengers in August on-month as the Covid-19 crisis continued to hurt travel markets.

Passenger volumes for the the month dropped to 7.0m, down from 14.9m in August 2019, on a load factor of 73%.

The company said it had operated about 60% of its normal August schedule.
