StockMarketWire.com - Vodafone Group said its Greek unit, Vodafone-Panafon Hellenic Telecommunications Company, had completed its acquisition of CYTA Telecommunications Hellas for a total enterprise value of €118m.

CYTA Hellas was a provider of fixed and mobile telecommunication services in Greece. It had around 300,000 fixed broadband customers, equivalent to a market share of around 8%, and around 40,000 mobile customers, Vodafone said.

'Through this acquisition, Vodafone Greece will expand its fixed network, increase its customer base and secure additional capabilities and expertise for the benefit of its customers,' the company said.
