StockMarketWire.com - Textile services group Johnson Service confirmed Monday that Peter Egan would be appointed as Chief Executive Officer on 1 January next year.

As announced on 5 December 2017, Egan would succeed Chris Sander who, having spent five years in the role of CEO, would step down from the board on 31 December 2018, the company said.

Egan, who had over 25 years' experience in the industry, was appointed to the Board as Chief Operating Officer on 1 April 2018 and since then had worked closely alongside Sander to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities, the company added.
