- The Barkby Group swung to a first-half loss on Thursday as costs of completing acquisitions, entering into the lease for The George, and staff restructure and bonuses dented performance.

For the six months ended 31 December 2018, company reported a loss of £17,881, compared to a profit of £309,171 a year earlier and revenues amounted to £1.82m.

The company had cash resources of £36,674 at 31 December 2018.

'The next few months for Barkby will be spent consolidating the deals completed since June and presenting a strong set of year end results for May 2019, and to continue our policy of controlled expansion,' the company said.
