StockMarketWire.com - Kazakhstan focused Steppe Cement said it boosted revenue by 34% in the first half of its financial year amid a rise in volumes.

The company said it sold 780,315 tonnes of cement in the six months through June, up 6% on-year.

Sales amounted to around 10.5m million Tenge, up 34% on-year.

The average price for delivered cement was 18,042 Tenge per tonne, compared with 14,276 per tonne.
