- Business consultancy, software and systems delivery company Triad Group saw its first-half pretax loss narrow.

This came as it lowered its administrative expenses.

For the period to end-September, Triad reported a pretax loss of £601,000 compared with a loss of £1.72m a year earlier. Administrative expenses reduced to about £3.41m from about £4.47m last time.

Revenues for the first-half however were lower at £17.06m compared with about £17.78m with the company saying this was mainly due to a reduction in the level of activity in the government sector.
