- Science in Sport reports another period of significant revenue growth with sales expected to be up 23%, year on year, at about £3.95 million.

"Revenue growth in the half year has been driven by strong sales of isotonic gels, food bars and hydration tablets and reflects the Company's on-going investment in product innovation, sales and marketing," the company sad in a trading update for the half year to Sept. 30.

The revenue growth highlighted the strength of the SiS brand and the resilience of the sports nutrition category, it said. The growth was evident in all channels including major grocers, high street outlets, independent retailers and e-commerce, as well as in international markets.

"Pre-tax profits for the half year are expected to be in line with management expectations and the Board remains confident of the outlook for continued revenue growth in the full year."
