StockMarketWire.com - Out-of-hospitals healthcare services provider Totally said subsidiary Vocare had won a four-year contract, with the option to extend by a further two years, from Virgin Care worth around £5m.
Coming into effect on 1 May, the contract involved the provision of GP out-of-hours services to NHS West Lancashire, through 18 GP practices in the region, covering a population of around 112,000 people.
'This contract is a key step in our drive to establish the company in this region and we believe it clearly demonstrates our ambition and ability to continue to expand our footprint across the UK,' chief executive Wendy Lawrence said.
