- Intertek Group said Wednesday it had promoted Financial Controller Ross McCluskey to the role of Group Chief Financial Officer to replace current CFO Ed Leigh, who would be leaving the company in due course.

Ross joined Intertek two years ago and had been a driving force in the performance of the business, the company said. He had a strong track record as a finance executive with JP Morgan, Gleacher Shacklock, Greenhill and Inchcape.

This chance comes as the company spruced up its organisational layout, removing one organisational layer impacting its Senior Finance, IT and Company Secretary functions.

Following the change, Group Chief Information Officer would report directly to the Group CEO, Andre Lacroix and the Company Secretary would report to the General Counsel.

The Heads of Tax, Treasury, Procurement, Financial Control, Financial Reporting and Analysis and Financial Operations, meanwhile, would report directly to the Group CFO.
