- Recruitment group Robert Walters said it grew fee income by 12% in the third quarter amid a particularly strong performance in mainland Europe and Asia.

Fee income for the three months through September grew on-year to a record £101.2m, the company said. On a constant currency basis, it grew 13%.

Mainland Europe income grew 21% on-year, while Asia income grew 15%.

Growth in the UK was more modest, at 4%.

'The board remains confident that profit before tax for the full year will be in line with current market expectations,' chief executive Robert Walters said.

'During the quarter, we have continued to invest in further growing our international footprint with the opening of new offices in Geneva and Los Angeles and have also increased headcount in those markets and disciplines offering the best opportunities for accelerated growth.'
