StockMarketWire.com - Mosman Oil and Gas said oil had started being sold again from two projects in Texas after disruptive weather conditions improved.

Mosman had warned on 18 October that several wells at the Welch Permian Basin and Strawn projects had been shut in due to heavy rainfall.

The rain had since abated and four tankers of oil were sold from Welch and two tankers from Strawn, the company said.

Further sales were expected before the end of the month.

A number of the wells that were shut in were again producing, though some wells still required minor repairs that would take place over the coming weeks.

'As stated, the effect will be a slightly lower average production rate,' chairman John W Barr said.

'There remain a small number of repairs to be completed at Welch, however the Board maintains its belief in a focus on building production.'
