- People-screening equipment supplier Thruvision said it won a contract to provide its technology to the US Transport Security Administration.

Thruvision said it would work with the TSA to develop a range of new concepts to improve passenger throughput at airport security checkpoints using its stand-off screening technology.

'Thruvision has worked extensively with TSA already to successfully test and vet our technology for use in surface transportation security environments,' American division head Kevin Gramer said.

'It is a logical transition for us to now work with TSA to support its aviation security mission and expedite screening of passengers at aviation checkpoints.'
