StockMarketWire.com - Infrastructure group Balfour Beatty said Wednesday it had secured a work package valued at £425m through the Highways England's Delivery Integration Partnership Framework to design and construct motorway and major A-road projects across England.
The initial packages of work was secured through two lots -- B6 in the South East worth up to £1.1bn, and B8 in the North worth up to £2bn -- with work commencing next year, the company said.
The Highways England's Delivery Integration Partnership Framework was for a period of six years after which future packages of work would be awarded based on performance, the company said.
