- Surface Transforms said it had been selected as a carbon ceramic brake disc supplier on a new car for an existing UK customer.

The limited edition car would be produced over three years with start of production expected towards the end of calendar 2021.

Surface Transforms said it expected the contract to generate lifetime revenue of £6m.

Separately, in recognition of the delays to the start of production of an original car in a first contract, the client had agreed to pay Surface Transforms around £300k relating to the direct costs on discs.

This existing contract was still expected to generate revenues to the company of around £2m over two years starting in calendar 2020.
