- Eland Oil & Gas said a remedial tubing patch had been installed on the Gbetiokun-3 well in licence OML40, repairing a small leak that had been identified during testing.

The tubing patched prepared a small leak that was identified during pressure testing, aon the shallower D9000 completion string.

The company said it expects the field to be brought onstream in July through the early production facility, presently being installed, with initial gross production of approximately 12,000 barrels of oil per day from the Gbetiokun-1 and -3 wells.
