- Security and surveillance system supplier Petards said it had won a £1.1m contract from a 'major UK defence systems contractor'.

The contract involved the company providing the client with electronic countermeasures equipment for use by the UK Ministry of Defence.

It entailed the manufacture and supply of equipment that would form part of an integrated defensive aids suite on military aircraft.

Most of the equipment was expected to be delivered in the second half of 2020.
