- Energy company InfraStrata said the process to convert its draft marine licence to a full marine licence was progressing on schedule as talks with the Department for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs in Northern Ireland continued.

The company also said the pre-construction marine baseline field work was now complete, with early indications showing results that were in line with, or better than, the previous data gathered.

The Islandmagee project was in the final phase of pre-construction activities and negotiations with the company's chosen equity partner were in the advanced stage, the company added.

'Having followed due process, we are confident that we will receive the marine licence, which will represent a key project milestone,' said John Wood, CEO of InfraStrata.
