- Sunrise Resources said it had submitted all supplemental environment reports to authorities for its CS pozzolan-perlite project in Nevada.

The reports analysed the impact of the project on various natural resources, including water, air quality, wildlife, soils, land use, vegetation and geology.

'These impacts are considered by the company's environmental consultants to be minor or negligible in most cases, except in respect of the mine area itself where there is a moderate but localised impact on soils and geology as would be expected for any mining operation,' the company said.

Sunrise said the preparation of a broader environmental assessment was nearly complete.

On approval for the supplemental reports just submitted, the broader document would be lodged and put forward for public comment as part of the final approval process.
