- Energy storage company RedT Energy, which is merging with Avalon Battery, said chief executive Scott McGregor would stand down at the end of the year.

Larry Zulch, the current head of Avalon Battery, would head the merged group.

McGregor would assist the company during a transition period and continue to support the delivery of a number of key commercial projects.

RedT also announced that current non-executive director and former vice chairman Jeff Kenna would stand down at the end of the year. In the interim period prior to completion of the merger, RedT would continue to be managed by executive chairman Neil O'Brien and chief financial officer Fraser Welham, it added.
