- Litigation finance specialist Manolete Partners has reported a record period for new business as well as a 50% increase in gross profit for the six months ended 30 September 2019.

In its interim report, Manolete said its gross profit rose to £6.6m, up from £4.4m in the same period in 2018. Profit after tax was £3.5m, an increase of 41%.

The company signed up 65 new cases in the period, compared to 61 for the whole of the financial year ended 31 March 2019. 18 case realisations netted gross proceeds of £2.4m.

The board proposed an interim dividend 0.5p per share. Net assets totalled £30.9m, up from £28m as at 31 March 2019.
