StockMarketWire.com - Resolute Mining said repairs to a sulphide roaster at its Syama gold mine in Mali had been completed.

The repair program was completed within the originally scheduled timeline and within an allocated budget, the company said.

The key piece of equipment had been taken offline in early October due to the detection of a crack in its main external shell.

Reheating of the roaster had now started prior to recommencement of normal roaster operations.

Concentrate feed was expected to commence in about five days' time.
